Regarding vehicle choice with 3 people:

Please understand that with a regular taxi, all three people would need to sit together in the rear seat (with the driver and guide sitting in the front seats). Though a regular taxi is designed to allow 3 people to sit in the rear seat, we usually recommend doing so only if your group has 3 smaller adults, or if one person is a child.

With three larger adults we recommend using our jumbo van, which has much more space and comfort.

Please understand that during winter months (December 1 - March 31) some sights are closed for the season.

During this time the Oku-Iya Double Vine Bridges are closed, so we will visit the main Kazurabashi Vine Bridge and Biwa Waterfall instead. Some historic houses are also closed, but we can usually include one historic house which is open at this time.

Also, the Mt Tsurugi chairlift is closed for these winter months, and some of our tours are not possible at this time, including the Architecture Tour, the Yama Yoga Tour, the Etegami Workshop Tour, and all Hiking Tours.

Sorry, but we only take reservations up to 6 months in advance, so this would be for tours happening on or before . .

We can give some general information if planning to visit more than 6 months from now, but please understand that we can not take such a booking yet, so we would truly appreciate if you could please wait until it is within 6 months before contacting us for a reservation.
