Relaxing Iya Hotsprings

To include an Iya Hotspring in this tour:

+Add 60 minutes of taxi-only time**

  **Having a guide is not necessary if bath is taken at the end of the tour. If so, the fee would be for 60 min. extra taxi time only ( +¥4900 / 60 min Standard Taxi, +¥7500 / 60 min Jumbo Taxi)

- All hot-springs ( onsen ) have their own pricing, from about ¥1100 to ¥1900 per person, children discounted

For those not staying at a local hotel with its own hotspring ( onsen ) facilities, we can take you to enjoy one of Iya's several unique bathing experiences, where you can sooth away all that ails you.

The three main places we recommend would be:

- Iya Onsen , which has beautiful riverside baths that are accessed by their cablecar that goes down to the bottom of Iyakei Gorge (¥1900/person), 

- Hotel Kazurabashi , which has panoramic outdoor baths as well as a lovely thatched roof tea house, all of which are access by a short cablecar ride up the hillside (¥1300/person),

- Hotel Hikyonoyu , which has outdoor baths as well as the largest and most elaborate indoor baths in the Iya Valley (¥1100/person).

Usually we would try to include the hotspring stop at the end of the tour, so your guide would finish when you arrive at the bath location. In such a case, you will be taken to your final destination by only the taxi driver.
